Decimal Number System


 It is known as Base 10 system as it contains 10 digits such as
(0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)
 In decimal number system, the successive positions to the left of
the decimal point represents unit, tens, hundreds, and so on.
 Formation of the decimal number system is as follows.

9 X 10 ^ 0 = 9x0 = 9

8 X 10 ^ 1 = 8 x 10 = 80

7 X 10 ^ 2 = 7 x 100 = 700

2 X 10 ^ 3 = 2 x 1000 = 2000

Step 2: Multiply it’s base with each power starting from 0
