How to Change the Wi-Fi name and
password
• Part 1: Login the GUI/Homepage of the Router & Access point
• Part 2: Change the SSID
• Part 3: Save the Configuration and Reboot the Router
PART 1: Login the
GUI/Homepage of the Router &
Access point
1. Test the Router and WAP if there is a power.
2. Find the Hard Reset Button, then Reset the Router / WAP
3. Hold/long press the reset button until all display icon blink together.
4. Restart the Device.
5. After Restarting the device, if there is no problem found out,
proceed on plugging the network Cable (only Straight-Through
Cables. Either T568-A or T568-B) to Router/WAP’s LAN port and to
the WorkStation Server system unit
6. Open a Browser then type the Default IP address in the address bar
and hit “Enter”
• Type the USERNAME and PASSWORD in the security tabs/bars to login
the setting page
• Click Login to enter to the GUI of the Router/Wi-Fi/WAP system
Click QUICK SETTINGS
• Configure Wifi Name (SSID) and SSID Broadcast must be Enabled,
otherwise your wifi device cannot be search. Then click next
• Configure the password of the wifi. Security mode must WPA/WPA2-
PSK(TKIP/AES). Click next.
• After Configuring SSID and Password, Click apply
• After Configuring the Wireless connection, Configure the Local
Connection. Go to Device Setting.
• Click Advance Settings
• Set DHCP Server Enable. If the DHCP Server is Disable, you wont have
an IP address Connected to your Internet Provider
• Click the Apply Button. The Device is ready to Use
