Pakistan
 Pakistan is a beautiful country. It has five provinces that are called: Sindh, Punjab,
khyberpakhtunkhwah, Baluchistan and gilgitbaltistan. It’s capital city is Islamabad. It's neighbor
countries are India, China, Iran and Afghanistan. has four popular countries that are called Lahore,
Islamabad, Karachi and Quetta. Pakistanis speak a language called Urdu.
Islamabad

 Islamabad is known for the presence of several parks and forests, including
Margalla hills national park and the shakarprian. It is home to several
landmarks, with the most notable one being the faisal mosque, the largest
mosque in south Asia and the fifth largest in the world. Islamabad is the
capital city of Pakistan, and is administered by the Pakistani federal
government as part of the Islamabad capital territory.
Karachi

 Karachi is the capital of Pakistani province of Sindh. It is the most populous


city in Pakistan, 6th most populous city in the world ant the 8th most populous
metropolitan city in the world. Ranked as the most beta city, the city is
Pakistan’s premiere industrial and financial center. Karachi is also Pakistan’s
most cosmopolitan city. Situated on the Arabian sea, Karachi serves as a
transport hub, and is the home to two of the Pakistan’s largest seaports, the
port of Karachi and port Bin Qasim, as well as the busiest port in Pakistan.
Lahore
 Lahore is the capital of Pakistani province of Punjab and is the countries 2 nd
largest city before Karachi, in addition to being the 26th largest city. Lahore is
famously known for the walled city where it features a rich and vibrant part
of the history of the country.it is filled with iconic and historical landmarks
worth checking out as visitors will be able to learn more about the city.
Quetta

 Quetta formally known as shalkot is the provincial capital of and the largest
city of the Pakistani province of Baluchistan. It is also the 10th largest city in
Pakistan. It was largely destroyed in the 1935 Quetta earthquake, but was
rebuilt and has a population of 1,001,205.
Peshawar

 Peshawar is the capital of the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and


its largest city. It is the 6th largest city in Pakistan ,and the largest Pashtun-
majority city in the country. Situated in the broad Valley of Peshawar east of
the historic Khyber Pass, close to the border with Afghanistan, Peshawar's
recorded history dates back to at least 539 BCE, making it the oldest city in
Pakistan and one of the oldest cities in South Asia
Multan

 Multan is a city and capital of Multan Division located in Punjab, Pakistan.


Situated on the bank of the Chenab River, Multan is Pakistan's 7th largest city
and is the major cultural and economic center of Southern Punjab.
 Multan's history stretches deep into antiquity. The ancient city was site of the
renowned Hindu Multan Sun Temple, and was besieged by Alexander the
Great during the Mallian Campaign. Multan was one of the most important
trading centers of medieval Islamic India, and attracted a multitude
of Sufi mystics in the 11th and 12th centuries, earning the city the sobriquet
"City of Saints". The city, along with the nearby city of Uch, is renowned for
its large number of Sufi shrines dating from that era.

Sargodha

 Sargodha (Punjabi and Urdu: ‫ )سرگودھا‬is a city and capital of Sargodha


Division, located in Punjab province, Pakistan. It is Pakistan's 12 th largest city
by population and one of the fastest-growing cities of the country.] Sargodha
is also known as the City of Eagles.[Sargodha was established by the British as
a canal-colony in 1903, and was initially spelled Sargodha. Sargodha was
badly affected by an outbreak of the bubonic plague in 1903, and
experienced a milder outbreak in 1904. Although it was a small town in the
beginning, the British Royal Air Force built an airport here due to its strategic
location. The term "Sargodha" has its origin in the words "Sar" (from "sarowar")
meaning "pond" and "Godha" meaning "Sadhu", which means "Pond of Godha".
This city was founded by Lady Trooper by the supervision of Sir Charles
Montgomery Rivaz KCSI (1845 – 7 October 1926), a colonial administrator in
British India and Lieutenant-Governor of the Punjab from 1902 to 1907.
Sialkot

 Sialkot (Punjabi and Urdu: ‫ )سيالكوٹ‬is a city in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the capital city
of Sialkot District. It is Pakistan's 12th most populous city and is located in north-east
Punjab—one of Pakistan's most industrialised regions. Along with the nearby cities
of Gujranwala and Gujrat, Sialkot forms part of the so-called "Golden Triangle" of
industrial cities with export-oriented economies. Through exports, Sialkot-based
industries are obtaining foreign exchange to more than $2.5 billion annually to
strengthen the national exchequer. This city is also known as the City of Iqbal. Sialkot
has a GDP(nominal) of $13 Billions. Which make it 4th largest in Pakistan.
 Sialkot is believed to be the site of ancient Sagala, a city razed by Alexander the
Great in 326 BCE, and then made capital of the Indo-Greek kingdom by Menander I in the
2nd century BCE—a time during which the city greatly prospered as a major centre for
trade and Buddhist thought Sialkot continued to be a major political centre, until it was
eclipsed by Lahore around the turn of the first millennium. The city rose again in
prominence during the British era, and is now one of Pakistan's most important industrial
centres. Sialkot has a GDP(nominal) of $13Billion . Which make it 4th largest in Pakistan
Gujranwala

 Gujranwala ) is a city and capital of Gujranwala Division located in Pakistan. It is


also known as "City of Wrestlers" and is quite famous for its food.] The city is
Pakistan's 5th most-populous metropolitan are, as well as 5th most populous city
proper after Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi respectively. Founded in
the 18th century, Gujranwala is a relatively modern town compared to the many
nearby millennia-old cities of northern Punjab. The city served as the capital of
the Sukerchakia Misl state between 1763 and 1799, and is the birthplace of the
founder of the Sikh Empire, Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
 Gujranwala is now Pakistan's third largest industrial center
after Karachi and Faisalabad, and contributes 5% to 9% of Pakistan's
national GDP. The city is part of a network of large urban centers in north-east
Punjab province that forms one of Pakistan's mostly highly industrialized regions.
Along with the nearby cities of Sialkot and Gujrat, Gujranwala forms part of the
so-called "Golden Triangle" of industrial cities with export-oriented economies.
Bahawalpur

 Bahawalpur is a city located in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Bahawalpur


is the 11th largest city in Pakistan by population as per a 2017 census, with a
population of 762,111.
 Founded in 1748, Bahawalpur was the capital of the former princely state of
Bahawalpur, ruled by the Abbasi family of Nawabs until 1955. The Nawabs left
a rich architectural legacy, and Bahawalpur is now known for its monuments
dating from that period. The city lies at the edge of the Cholistan Desert, and
serves as the gateway to the nearby Lal Suhanra National Park.

Hyderabad

 Hyderabad is a city and capital of Hyderabad Division in the Sindh province


of Pakistan. It is the second-largest city in Sindh, and the fourth largest in
Pakistan.
 Founded in 1768 by Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro of the Kalhora Dynasty,
Hyderabad served as a provincial capital until the British transferred the
capital to Bombay presidency in 1847.It is about 150 kilometers (93 mi) inland
of Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan, to which it is connected by a direct
railway and M-9 motorway.

Faisalabad

 Faisalabad formerly known as Lyallpur (Punjabi: ‫)الئل پور‬, named after the
founder of the city is the third-most-populous
city in Pakistan after Karachi and Lahore respectively, and the second-largest
in the eastern province of Punjab. Historically one of the first planned cities
within British India, it has long since developed into a cosmopolitan
metropolis. Faisalabad was restructured into city district status; a devolution
promulgated by the 2001 local government ordinance (LGO). The total area
of Faisalabad District is 5,856 km2 (2,261 sqmi) while the area controlled by
the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) is
1,280 km2 (490 sq mi). Faisalabad has grown to become a major industrial and
distribution centre because of its central location in the region and
connecting roads, rails, and air transportation.
Rawalpindi

 Rawalpindi is the capital city of Rawalpindi Division located in


the Punjab province of Pakistan. Rawalpindi is the fourth-largest city proper
in Pakistan after Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad respectively while the
larger Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area is the country's third
largest metropolitan area. Rawalpindi is adjacent to Pakistan's capital
of Islamabad, and the two are jointly known as the "twin cities" on account of
strong social and economic links between the cities.
