SURVEY RESULTS-AGE

We made our Survey to find out the dominate age of our audience to determine our target market. We also wanted to find out what type of genre our target market liked the most.

This showed us that our demographic focus has to be on both male and female because our results show us that there's no dominate sex because both male and female answered the same amount of answers.

So from this we now know to make our film sublet for both genders.

SURVEY RESULTS-DO YOU WATCH FILMS OFTEN? IF SO, HOW OFTEN DO YOU WATCH THEM?
These results showed us that the majority of people like to watch films on a weekly basis. It also shows us that lots of people know about films and know what makes a good film. So if there are any mistakes in our opening, they will spot them and not like the rest of the opening.

WATCH FILMS?
These results showed us that people will go to the cinema to watch film. How ever DVDs where close behind, this show us that if people like the film they have watch, this get it.

PREFER?
These results showed us that the genre for our film will be a thriller due to the fact that the majority amount of people that answered our survey chose a thriller as their favourite genre of film.

So from this we now know that the genre of film we will make will be a thriller.

FEED BACK

When we did our presentation, there was a lot good feed back on how we can improve our opening scene. We asked multiple -people on what they would change and keep. They liked the idea of keeping the mysterious man hidden, however they said we should show him more, to keep him a mystery we should make him have black glasses on. This was successful as it helped up build up the character of the mysterious man and make him even more creepy. Also that said it would be better if there was less speech as it would give a better dramatic effect.l

WHAT WE ARE GOING TO CHANGE

We are going to give mysterious man some glasses as the audients said this would add some drama to the scene, we will also not show all of the mysterious man as we want to keep his identity a secrete. Also we are going to change our script to include less speech as this is also something the audients said would make the opening better.
