Prerequisites
Partners should bring their own SAP S/4HANA Cloud TDD tenant and SAP Business Technology Platform account including SAP BTP, ABAP Environment (free tier or other) during the Hack2Build event PE Sell, PE Build & PE Service partners are eligible to take part in the hackathon Partner teams should include Business Manager and SAP ABAP Developers\Consultants Participants should have strong expertise and hands-on experience with SAP ABAP and must bring relevant Line of Business \ Industry Cloud business scenarios for the event We recommend participants to watch the SAP BTP ABAP Environment Bootcamp series previous to the hackathon as we have to expect the technical participants to be familiar with SAP BTP, ABAP Environment. Partner should build the prototype with an intent to productize post the event

All businesses need to inventory its fixed assets, be it at the end of every month or the end of every year. SAP provides only multiple reports regarding fixed assets, so we’re talking about a time-consuming manual process, done by one or many people (in the best-case scenario) consisting of but not limited to: Current Business Scenario & its challenges • Physical inventory of the fixed assets on the whole premise done on an Excel file. • Checking the result on SAP. • Correct the gaps between the inventory file and SAP that may need a validation workflow.

Usecase
Our goal is to simplify the task and minimize the time needed to accomplish it / human errors: Mobile friendly APP for Inventory agent: • Geolocation of fixed assets based on its location. • Scanning the fixed assets / location serial number by phone.
And a cockpit for Accountant:
Description of the Solution • List of fixed assets up to date after inventory cross-referenced by the previous state. • Geolocation of fixed assets based on its location. • Multiple options to correct the gaps. • Update if any changes are made on a given fixed asset (To be repaired, change of location, lost, etc). • Each action triggers a validation workflow that will eventually be reported to the accountant and the necessary actions will take place.
