Processors.
Facts about Processors.
A processor, also known as the CPU carries out and interprets
basic operations of the computer.

-Mostly directs and coordinates the operations of the

computer.

-Interprets each instruction, executing steps needed to carry

out the instruction (The control Unit of the processor.)

-Contains: The Control Unit and The Arithmetic Unit.

-The processor chips are Intel and AMD, they both perform the
same functions.

Power Supply
The Power Supply is a hardware
device inside the computer that
converts AC electricity into DC
electricity, and then is distributed
to the rest of the computer.

- It provides DC voltage to the

motherboard, adapters, etc.
- Provides cooling air through the
case.

RAM Memory
The function of RAM Memory is
when a computer has temporary
memory or in other words loses its
memory when power is removed.
-Is used to store information that
needs to be used quickly.
-Is high speed
-Has short term memory

Hard Drive
the hardware component that stores all of your
digital content.
- Was invented as a secondary
storage.
- Lasts for about 3-5 years
-
ROM Memory
Stores permanent information,
only containing permanent written
data.
-You can’t add any more Read-only
memory to your computer.
-Most of the data on Read-only
memory chips can’t adapt.
- Is the reason for read-only.
