Introduction
What it does:
The Strategic Plan Snapshot helps HR leaders summarize HR’s strategic plan for the year.

How to use it:


Document key functional objectives and initiatives, assumptions, and urgency drivers that will help in preparing the annual HR
budget.

Instructions:
• This template contains 5 boxes that require the following information:
- Current state of the function
- Desired state, i.e. where the function needs to be
- Key reasons (urgency drivers) why the function needs to change its current strategy
- Assumptions behind the urgency drivers
- Top initiatives that will help the function achieve the desired state
• Fill in your responses for each in the corresponding boxes after completion of the function’s annual strategic planning exercise.
