 ABSTRACT

• The purpose of any Online Examination System is to provide a web-based application

which will considerably reduce the time required to conduct the exams and get the
scores.

• Online examination system is a web-based examination system where examinations

are given online. either through the internet or intranet using computer system.

• The main goal of this online examination system is to effectively evaluate the student
thoroughly through a totally automated system that not only reduce the required time
but also obtain fast and accurate results.
 OBJECTIVE
• Being a coordinated online examination framework, it will decrease paper work.
• To permit workforce to make exams and answer key.
• To permit programmed reviewing and manual evaluating which can be recorded
per test
• Responses by the candidates will be checked automatically.
• Online examination system is a non removable examination pattern of today’s life.
• We need more time saving and more accurate examination system as the number of
applicants is increasing day by day.
 PROPOSE SYSTEM
The modules of the project online examination system save the exams information in a
database , teachers can add/delete questions, set the correct answers, specify the
exam period, register students ,delete , students , show questions for students
randomly, calculate and show the final results for students
Login system
• login as admin By using already stored admin name and password the individual
can log on to the system any time he/she desires as an admin to manage the
admin activities.
• Logging is successful only if the input detail is matched with the database,
else an error message is displayed.
Students activities

Student activities contain the following operations:

• Give the exam: After the student logging in, a group of questions will be
displayed to him to start and give an exam.

• Get the results: After answering all the questions in a specified period the student
will finish the exam and his/her degree will be displayed on the screen.

Student On-line Exams:

The institute should conduct exams to evaluate the student. Marks evaluation
should be done. The marks regarding the student and the subject he has
undergone should be updated in the database at the server

Examination ” service covers the facilities for eExamination.
• In future we hope that this demonstration model can be further improved so that
it will define more things about eExamination services so the users are further
benefited.

• We can also implement forum to discuss, discussion between Collage/School

students and Teacher regarding eExamination
 CONCLUSION
• The system is developed using PHP and MySQL are saved in the
database.
• Online examination system for introduction to management course is the
best compared to paper-based exam.
• The automated system helps students and lecturers to save time and
makes the process faster. It saves space since answers papers will not be
used.
• With a user-friendly system that has security, integrity and the database is
neither inconsistent nor redundant.
