    Wide Band Reject Filter

    • Wide band reject filters are formed by using


    • a low pass filter,
    • a high pass filter &
    • a summing amplifier.

    • fL of high pass filter must be large than fH of low pass filter

    Narrow Band Reject Filter

    • Often called a notch filter.

    • Used for rejection of a simple frequency.

    • Most commonly used notch filter is the twin-T network.

    • Passive filter composed of two T-shaped networks.
