Introduction to Background and history of the organization

• our internship host companies are app factory academy which is found in wollo university kombolcha
institution of technology .app factory is formed in 2011.

• And located at Kombolcha town in the KIOT campus, registerar building center 3 nd Floor 203 office.
Tulane University, Center for Global Health Equity in collaboration with Wollo University in
Ethiopia and Microsoft-4Afrika has developed an innovative App-Factory Academy for young
professionals with the aim of develop critical skills needed to innovate and maintain application
software systems (e-health and m-health).

 The main challenge was to understand the concept and domain of the project

 It was also a challenge to learn new technologies and apply them properly.

 the power outage, this was also creating another challenge in doing our day-to-day activity consistency

 we were faced was barrier of communication with the supervisor and other concerned body due to distance
between us.

 OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

The general objective of this project is to design and implement responsive, progressive, full
contents of bidding system in construction management industry.
 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE

 Gather relevant information about the existing system

 Design the graphical user interface of the bidding system system

 The system will serve the contractor for contract.

 Select the appropriate programming language

 Design the system using object-oriented approach models for understanding the system
and to make the implementation easy.

 Design a database that stores the relevant information

 METHODOLOGY OF THE PROJECT

•The success of a project work largely depends upon the methodology selected to conduct the whole
process. we have used basically observation and document analysis method and some concerned tools
in this internship. The following methods were adopted for completing the present project:

•In conclusion we students were benefited a lot in the field attachment in a way that the student
managed to apply the theoretical knowledge from the Kiot into practice through the many activities
projects the intern was instructed to do. The intern improved the skills like interpersonal, listening,
presentation skills, acting freely around people, typing skills, accounting, recording, presentation,
typing, conflict resolution, organizational skills to mention but a few. And student should apply in the
app factory academy I will advice another student.
