LO3 - An understanding of approaches to academic writing and referencing.

You MUST remember to demonstrate your understanding of the Learning Outcomes (LOs) in
your assessments.
Assessment Reminder
The assignment for this module is in two parts:

Part 1:
You are required to prepare and present an Individual Power Point presentation
detailing why you have enrolled on this course and how the knowledge and skills
gained will help you in your chosen career.
This presentation should be approx. 5 minutes and approx. 8 slides).
PowerPoint Submission Deadline: Week 4 (see Moodle for date)
Presenting: Week 4

Part 2:
You are required to prepare a 2000-word report which advertises your intended
future career to potential construction management students and details the steps
needed to take to achieve this goal. This report will also include a reflective
commentary section and your plans for continuous improvement using a personal
development plan (PDP).

Report Deadline: Week 6 (see Moodle for date)

opportunity to:

notes and write your report.

2. Ensure that you are including independent research in your
report
3. Create a Harvard Reference list for your report (if you haven’t
done so already)
