INTRODUCTION:

 In today's dynamic work environment, efficient management of employee leave is


critical for ensuring smooth operations within organizations. Recognizing the
importance of streamlined processes and employee satisfaction, many companies
are turning to Employee Leave Management Systems (ELMS) to automate and
simplify the leave request and approval process.

 An Employee Leave Management System is a software solution designed to


facilitate the entire lifecycle of employee leave, from request submission to
approval, tracking, and reporting. By digitizing this process, organizations can
minimize administrative burdens, reduce errors, and enhance transparency and
compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Objectives:

 Enhance organizational efficiency through automated leave request processes.


 Eliminate manual paperwork to reduce administrative workload.
 Ensure accurate and transparent leave tracking for improved HR management.
 Provide a user-friendly platform to boost overall employee satisfaction.
 Design the system to scale with organizational growth, accommodating increased
user loads and adapting to changes in leave policies.
 Develop a mobile-friendly application to enable employees to submit, track, and
manage leave requests conveniently from their mobile devices.
Problem statements:

 This project is aimed at developing an employee leave management system that


is of importance to either an organization. The Leave Management System (LMS)
is an Intranet based application that can be accessed throughout the organization or
a specified group/Dept. This system can be used to automate the workflow of leave
applications and their approvals. The periodic crediting of leave is also automated.
There are features like email notifications, automatic approval of leave, report
generators etc… in this system. Leave Management application will reduce paper
work and maintains record in more efficient way.
