Any SAP Build Process Automation project starts in the unified lobby.
This is a central place for creating, accessing, and managing projects
within the solution. From the lobby you can easily access any capability
like the process builder, the forms editor, the RPA automation recorder,
and so on. Or you can browse the built-in content store for pre-defined
content and reusable artifacts - such as workflow components, process
steps, RPA bots or actions - to use directly in your project.

Users can create and manage processes and workflows using a no-code
process builder. The process builder is the central component for many
projects. Using simple drag-and-drop functionalities, users can​

Task automation
Task automation – also know as robotic process automation (RPA) – can be tackled in multiple ways.

Depending on the complexity of the automation, users can use either the no-code editor or – when the automation requires the use of JavaScript – switch to the low-code experience. You can capture
fields, drag-and-drop automation steps into the bot flow, and connect steps using the building blocks of standard activities enabled by the solution.

UI-based automations from both SAP and 3rd-party applications can be created

adjust the flow using intuitive editing features., for example to change hard-
coded values to variables.

For SAP Build Process Automation the maximum number of sessions accessing the Cloud Service at any one time is counted; a
session refers to the time between logon and logoff or time out where a unique user, application, bot or platform accesses the
Cloud Service either directly or indirectly via a custom application. Automations triggered in debugging mode will not be counted
as a Connection.
Active User:
Active Users are the number of individuals that access the Cloud Service at any time during a calendar month. For Active User
counting, an individual user who is defined as both a Standard and Advanced user during a single month will be charged for
usage under both categories.

Standard User:
The Standard User is defined via the role Project Participant and enables users to initiate and participate in workflows created by
the Advanced User.
Advanced User:
The Advanced User is defined via the role Citizen Developer / IT Admin and enables users to create, via a Low-Code/No-Code
user experience, workflows, manage decisions, gain comprehensive process visibility, and configure processes. It allows users to
build, run, and manage workflows. It allows users to digitalize and automate decision-making. It enables process excellence,
process transparency, and process transformation by providing one view of the process. Users can configure the process flow
without the involvement of IT to improve process efficiency.
Attended Automations:
An Attended Automation is an automation with the trigger type attended.

Unattended Automations:
An Unattended Automation is an automation with any other trigger type as attended.
