A moving story about animals that found themselves at the epicenter of war events and were evacuated by
volunteers to a temporary shelter in Kyiv. Not only people lose their homes and loved ones in the war with
Russia, but animals suffer too. The story consists of six chapters, each of which tells the story of the life and
rescue of one "tail", cat or dog. The chapters are united by a common character - a self-sufficient and free-
spirited cat Borysiuk, who lives next to a temporary shelter. Having learned about new neighbors, the cat
comes to the evacuated dogs and cats, listens to their stories, and supports them, trying to accommodate them
in new families. Sometimes sad, sometimes funny stories about animals are evidence of the invincibility and
strength of people who were close to them, took care of them, and eventually saved them. In each chapter,
socially important topics are discussed especially those related to responsible animal care.
