Procedure:
1. A group of pictures will be given to your group.
The pictures given are the things to do before,
during and volcanic eruption. Arrange the photos
based on which group it belongs to.
2. Choose 3 presenters.
3. Present your work to the class.
Group 2: Role Play Me!
Procedure:
1. Make a short role play on what to do before,
during and after a volcanic eruption.
2. The use of vernacular during the role play is
allowed.
3. The role play should has a minimum of 1 minute
and maximum of 3 minutes.

1. Keep listening to your radio or

television until you are told all is
safe or you are told to evacuate.
2. Follow evacuation or
shelter orders. If advised to
evacuate, do so early.
3. Limit your time outdoors and

use a dust mask or cloth mask as
a last resort if you must be
outside.
4. Practice a communication
and evacuation plan with
everyone in your family.

•Close all windows, doors, and fireplace or
woodstove dampers.
•Turn off all fans and heating and air
conditioning systems.
•Bring pets and livestock into closed shelters.

If you are outdoors
•Seek shelter indoors.
•If caught in a rockfall, roll into a ball to
protect your head.
•If near a stream or river, be aware of rising
water and possible mudflows in low-lying
areas. Move up-slope as quickly as
possible.
•Seek care for burns right away. Immediate
care can be life saving.

•Continue listening to radio or TV for the latest
information.
•Remain inside your home until officials
declare it is safe to leave.
•Inspect your home, check for damage to
walls, the roof, the foundation, the electrical
system and water lines.

•When outside, avoid volcanic ash fall.

Cover your skin, nose, eyes and mouth.
•Clear roofs of ash fall. Ash can be very
heavy and cause roofs to collapse.
•Avoid making phone calls except in
serious emergencies.
