Grid data in HEC-HMS can exist as individual rasters with no time association or as gridsets which are time series of rasters. Grid data is imported into HEC-DSS using various import tools and formats like ASCII and GeoTIFF then gridsets are created in HEC-HMS by linking the DSS data source. The grid data importer allows preprocessing of grid files during import including clipping, projection handling, and resampling before writing to DSS for use in HEC-HMS modeling.
