Arduino KY 037

The KY 037 sound sensor module detects sound vibrations through a microphone and converts them into electrical signals that can be read by an Arduino microcontroller. It has an adjustable sensitivity level controlled through a potentiometer. The module outputs a digital signal to Arduino when sound is detected above the threshold, and can be used in a variety of applications by connecting the power, ground, and digital pins as specified.

How it works?
1.The KY 037 sound sensor module works by detecting sound vibration in the air
and converting them into electrical signals. The module has a microphone that
picks up the sound vibration and converts them into an electrical signal that can be
read by an Arduino microcontroller. The module has an adjustable sensitivity level
that can be set using a potentiometer. When a sound is detected, the module
outputs a digital signal that can be read by Arduino. The module can be used in a
variety of applications.
How to connect it?
+: pin receiving the voltage to power the sensor. In this circuit, Arduino 5V pin is
providing the power supply.
G: pin connected to ground.
DO: pin connected to the digital pin 2 of Arduino.
AO: pin NOT used in this circuit.
How to control it?
2.Turn it clockwise to increase detection sensitivity, or turn it counter-clockwise to
decrease detection sensitivity. If the module's L2 LED is on, the noise levels are
above the threshold and you should decrease the sensitivity.
