Objectives:

Angle

∠
• Angle- is comes from the Latin
word angulus means corner.

• It is formed when two rays


meet at a common endpoint,
what we called vertex.
Parts of an Angle
Vertex: corner of an angle.
Arms: two sides of an angle
Initial side: reference line.
Terminal side: the side up, which the angle
measurement is done.

• Draw a ray CT of any length.

midpoint should touch the marked point C.
• Mark the point as A on the top circular part
of a protractor, according to preferred angle.
• Mark the degree of the angle made, where
two side of the straight line intersects.
