*Briefly discussed in the training video
First and foremost, get the Variations of the proposed name confirmed before starting with
the TM Search and make relevant folders accordingly.
Post which, review the entire website of the concerned business (if available) and also
download Master Data of the same (if registered with MCA) to understand the nature of its
business. Upon which, you will be able to ascertain accurate class/es of TM [*go through
the 45 Classes of TM, thoroughly].
If the proposed name also consists of a “Logo/ Device Mark”, you will have to go through
the 29 Categories of Vienna Codes in order to classify them; aka- Vienna Code Classification.

Post completion of TM Search, draft an E-mail, Board Resolution (in case of Pvt Ltd
company)/ Resolution (in case of LLP), Power of Attorney (PoA), and prepare TM Sheet,
inclusive of all the relevant and required data and search conducted.
