The act of thinking about something to form ideas and opinions, or an


idea or opinion produced by thinking

Watch your Thoughts, they become words.


Watch your Words, they become actions.
Watch your Actions, they become habits.
Watch your Habits, they become your
character.
Watch your Character, it becomes your
FEELINGS

Your feelings about something are the things that you think and feel about
it, or your attitude towards it.

In the midst of painful and


confused feelings, we can
ask ourselves whether we
would be better off without
feelings?
ACTIONS

Action is doing something for a particular purpose.

We cannot be held accountable for


how we feel, and for how we
think. But we can and will be held
accountable for what we do.

social and societal norms. Our
behavior and our performance can
be measured and will form the
basis for how others will evaluate
us.
ACTIVITY
This activity is about noticing the link between pain, feelings,
thoughts, and actions. This activity is about noticing how
what we do, can influence the way we feel and think, and in
turn, how this can affect pain levels.
INSTRUCTION
Think about when you have a situation that involves pain.
Your feelings in that situation can influence the thoughts and
actions that you take. An example has been given to you in
the table on the next slide.
