ENT09407 Assessment

 End of Unit assessment for global online modules -10%


 Coursework 1 – 30% Narrated powerpoint presentation on an
organisation of your choice and an appraisal of how the organisation
is affected by the environment in which it operates (5 minutes
maximum).

 Coursework 2 – 60% Supply Chain Management Evaluation


(role of internal capabilities, scope of specific business functions
and significance of key, cross functional processes essential to
delivery of customer value (3500 words).
Assessment – Coursework 1
 Narrated Powerpoint
 Company chosen may be public, private or third sector
organisations
 Underpinned by evidence from academic journals
 Deadline
 Hand-in via Moodle. Upload your work online. The narrated
powerpoint should be uploaded as a .ppt file.

Structuring your coursework
 Report should be structured: Introduction, Main Text (theory,
concepts and examples) with Conclusion.
 Read structuring a report and writing at SCQF level 9 support resources
 All references in report to work which is not your work or after
another author must be referenced and cited. This should be AAT

 Diagrams should be clear, well labelled and described in text
(referenced where appropriate).
Coursework
• Refer to the assessment guidelines on Moodle and be familiar with the
task expected.
• Take care over your presentation of the report – draft and proof read your
work
• Check the assessment criteria’s carefully – are you covering everything
that is expected?
• Use the resources on the student portal. Read the guidelines again.
• Plagiarism is a series academic infringement (see “Plagiarism and How
to Avoid It” – Guidelines for Students, available through the Student
Portal)
Coursework Feedback
 Written feedback will be provided for coursework – it will be provided
through Moodle

 There is normally a three week turn around time for marks – this is to allow
for marking and second marking. Any marks given are preliminary and
subject to ratification by the Board of Examiners. End of course results take
longer as they are only released once the Programme Boards have met.

 Feedback sheets are available on Moodle.
