    Signal types- Define a “digital” and “analog” signal

    • Analog signals are constantly varying. In our case


    analog signals come from temperature, pressure,
    length and angle sensors.

    • Digital signals are discrete consistent i.e. on /off.


    There is no gray or in between area. These signals are
    represented as either a 1 or 0 on the troubleshooting
    screens.
