INTRODUCTION
According to survey fully paralyzed patients required twenty-four hours support .But now a days ,it is not
possible to monitor that patient. So they need person who cares paralyzed patient .OR if patient is in
hospital doctor or nurse has to move physically to check the patient health
This project aim is to make support system for paralyzed and epilepsy patient. This project is based on an
IOT monitoring system that integrates three monitoring units temperature sensor ,accelerometer and
gyroscope sensor, heart rate sensor ,EMG sensor and microcontroller/microprocessor as control module
RELEVANCE
We come across hospitals and NGO’s serving paralyzed as well as epilepsy patient. Now these people
are not capable of full body movement as compared to a normal person. In such a situation we propose
a system that helps disabled person display a message by just simple motion of any part of his body.
Our proposed system works by reading the tilt direction of the user part. This device needs to be
mounted on user finger of hand. The user now just needs to tilt the device in a particular angle to
convey a message. Tilting the device in different directions conveys a different message
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The IoT-based epilepsy and paralyzed patient support system offers significant benefits for individuals with
epilepsy and paralysis. By leveraging IoT technologies, such as wearable devices and smart sensors, the
system enhances patient monitoring, improves response time during emergencies, and enables remote
healthcare management. This comprehensive approach enhances patient safety, enables early detection of
seizures or health complications, and facilitates timely intervention. Ultimately, the IoT-based support
system improves the quality of life for epilepsy and paralyzed patients by providing continuous monitoring,
timely assistance, and efficient healthcare management.
