About the Course
AIM: This course offers a further introduction to the computer system
environment and problem-solving with the help of the computer. The
emphasis is on practical hands-on experience. The course helps students
with understanding presentation skills. It will focus on equipping student
basic spreadsheet and database skills. It will introduce further computing
skills. The course will further equip students with basic ICT skills required
for their academic work.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
 Attain competency of each of the following, enough for them to teach themselves
any more advanced related computer literacy material not covered in this course:
1. Spreadsheet skills using Microsoft Excel
2. Introduction to Databases using Microsoft Access
3. Presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint

 Pass of Computer Studies at BGSCE in 2016 with a 70% and above pass in
Computer studies or ICT subjects

 Returning student who passed ICT121 &122 in not more than 5yrs[ 50% and
above pass mark] NOT GEC121 & 122
