a package consisting of four basic parts: hardware, software, data and a thinking operator.

Work Order - It is a mechanism for managing modification and enhancement to the
network in versioning technology.
Note: Number of OPEN WO allowed in your work order Manager and the maximum
number of days that a WO can be kept OPEN in NE will change as per requirements.
As per the conditions NE will show a pop up on your screen

• PWO – Planning work order (ISP Task)
• ABD – As-built data work order (OSP Task)
• DWO – Deviation Work Order (Only for FTTx deviation task)
• EWO – Engineering work order (Not used)

• In this type of connectivity we only specify the port & transmedia that are to
be connected and select connect features button and the connection would
be done
• We do not specify the trans media that will be used

In this type of connection we select the ports that need to connect and then select connect
through jumper wherein we select the model selector button and add the appropriate
Transmedia after which in the window we specify the length and also
the inner core of the cable and click ok & apply thus leading to the
Connection being done.

Reconcile
• If different users are working on the same master data, in different versions
Reconcile helps to update the WO of one user with the modifications or
changes made by the other user in the master data.

– Allows you to validate, all features that have been modified or created in the
currently open work order.
– Checks whether the mandatory fields are empty or properly filled or not
– After no validation errors occur the WO can be transitioned

How to delete the inventory present in Granite

• To delete any inventory from NE and Granite we need to clean the logical data from
granite
• Raise a TT on HPSM to the granite team (BSS_OSS-EricssonP2B) to have them cleant

fter the Logical Data is cleaned from Granite
• Create NE Work Order with PWO Type
• Select the inventory in NE.
• Open the Attribute Editor and go to the field Inventory Status Code

How to delete the inventory present in Granite

• Change ‘Inventory Status Code’ to ‘Pending Remove’ and click on save.


• Transition Work Order
• Inventory will get deleted from Granite and NE once the WO transition is
SUCCESFUL
