HISTORY ABOUT COMPANY

Artos is a regional soft drink and the first aerated soft drink in the state of
Andhra Pradesh.[1] It was first named as "Ramachandra Raju soft drinks" and later renamed as
"A.R Raju Tonics" and later converted into Artos. It was originated in Ramachandrapuram in
East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. At first, Ramachandra Raju bought a soda machine
from British collectorate but he did not know how to use it. Later, he came to Visakhapatnam
with the machine and meet a person in Port and he helped the machine with new parts and also
told how to use it and he returned to Ramachandrapuram and started marketing it as a soda
drink in 1912. At first, local people scared to drink due to gaseous content or some myths but
after observing British soldiers consuming it they started. In 1919, it was officially made as a
drink and the required sugars, gas and flavours are imported from Europe. But during the 2nd
World War, the imports had stopped and many industries in India halted. But Artos continued its
production from the flavour taken from fruits. Many international companies offers franchises but
Artos never stopped. In 2019, it has completed 100 years and Artos was growing furthermore in
Andhra Pradesh.

PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR ARTOS DRINK:-

All ingredients used in soft drinks must be of high purity and food grade to
obtain a quality beverage. These include the water, carbon dioxide, sugar, acids,
juices, and flavours.
WATER:-
Although water is most often taken from a safe municipal supply, it
usually is processed further to ensure uniformity of the finished
product; the amount of impurities in the municipal supply may vary
from time to time. In some bottling plants the water-treatment
equipment may simply consist of a sand filter to remove minute solid
matter and activated carbon purifier to remove colour, chlorine, and
other tastes or odours. In most plants, however, water is treated by a
process known as superchlorination and coagulation. There the water
is exposed for two hours to a high concentration of chlorine and to a
flocculant, which removes organisms such as algae and bacteria; it
then passes through a sand filter and activated carbon.
CARBONDIOXIDE AND CARBONATION:-

Carbondioxide gas gives the beverage its sparkle and tangy taste and prevents spoilage.
Carbonation is effected by chilling the liquid and cascading it is thin layers over a series of
plates in an enclosure containing carbondioxide gas under pressure.The amount of gas the water
will absorb increased and the temperature is decreased.
FLAVOURING SYRUP :-
Flavouring syrup is normally a concentrated solution of a sweetner. Activated carbon is
used to purify sugar like to remove impurities and odour.
then making syrup with sugar by using steam(or)heat.Then all of the ingredients are added
in a presice order to make a finishe syrup.After making a drink filling into bottles through fillings
meachine.
WATER TREATMENT
Water treatment
 Water treatment is any process that improves the quality of water to make it
appropriate for a specific end-use.
 Water treatment may simply consist of a sand filter to remove minute solid
matter.
 Activated carbon purifier to remove colour,chlorine,tastes and odours.
 In plant water is treated by a process know as superchlorination and
coagulation.
 The water is exposed for two hours to a high concentration of chlorine and to
a flocculation,which removes organisms such as algae and bacteria.
R.O.PROCESSING
 Fill raw water tank with chlorine by closing pump then chlorine water is
transfer into the sand filter tank.
 Than water converted into the carbontank then transfer to storage tank.
 Without chlorine water transfer into normal tank by filters means catrous
filters with range (0.1,0.2,0.5,0.7)
 Then add minerals like (Nacl+Mgso+cacl2)means antiscale
 Then transfer water into filling tank then converted into 1L,2L,500ML water
bottles and water bubbles

The water plant mechanism is same as pet bottle unit process
INFRASTRUTURE MECHANISM
 UNIT-1[GLASS BOTTLE]
1. DECASER:-This machine automatically unpacks and single files bottles received in
necks-down reshipper cases to ensure a continuous supply of empty bottles to the
packaging line. Offering a solid combination of speed and flexibility, combined with
gentle bottle handling, this decaser has earned its reputation as a preferred solution for
food and beverage manufacturers’ bottle handling requirements.
2.BOTTLE WASHER:-The system has a double acting pneumatic cylinder which is
being actuated using pneumatic control components such as direction control (5/2
Solenoid Valve) and flow control components which are controlled through
Electronic Control Timing Unit. The cylinder helps the bottles to be immersed inside
the water in the tank, and then rinses it to wash the bottle.
The position of cylinder is sensed by switch OFF the timing control unit
and is provided to hold the bottles in the immersed condition to allow water to enter
into the bottle.
After filling the water to the bottles are agitated by the up and down
movement of the actuator (Switch ON the Timing Control Unit), and then the water
inside the bottle is removed by suspending the bottle.

3.Empty Bottle Inspection:-It reduces the number of jams and rejects due to the
presence of contaminants, imperfections or defects in the empty bottles. The system
performs the full bottle inspection of the empty bottle to ensure their compliance and
quality before the filling process.
Paramixture :-
All the other ingredients are added in a precise order to
make a syrup to added carbondioxide before this the syrup will be
filtered with diatomite filterpaper then adding flavours and ingredients .
Then mix the syrup with carbondioxide into the syrup . After making a
drink filling the drinkinto the bottles through filling machine.
5.FILLER:-Filling machine is packaging machinery to fill the product into glass
bottle. the bottles to be filled onto the conveyor and then the conveyor
moves the bottles downstream and into the Auto-Fill™. The Auto-Fill™ is
an automated gate system that organizes the bottles on the conveyor.
The Auto-Fill can be set up to release one or more bottles into the filling
area, depending on how many nozzles your filling machine has.
These is having easy way of control to fill exact amount of liquid to
the bottles .These is having adjust the different sized bottles without replacing
parts and also having a “NO BOTTLE NO FILL ’’ mechanism which means the
machine will automatically stop the process when is no bottle available on the
belt.
6.UNCASER:-An Uncaser will remove containers from cases/trays at a rate up to 7 cases per
minute. This affordable compact machine can be configured as either an Uncaser or a Case
Packer that handles your product with a “Soft Touch”. Put it on both ends of your line and
stock one set of repair parts. Economical – Soft Touch – 7 CPM.
PET BOTTLE UNIT
 UNIT-1[PET BOTTLE]
1.PET BLOW MOULDING:-The PET bottle blow moulding process works by reheating a pre-
moulded PET preform which is then automatically positioned into a mould. High pressure food
grade compressed air is then injected into the preform which expands to form the shape of the
mould.
The neck ending catches and holds while the bottom end pinches closed as the tube closes.
A blow-pin is interested into the neck end of the hot parison while compressed air inflates it to the shape
of the mold cavity. Simultaneously, the process creates the threaded opening.
Once the mold sufficiently cools, it opens, ejecting the finished bottle along with excess plastic that was
trimmed off from around the neck and bottom portions.
2.CARBON MIXTURE:- All the other ingredients are added in a precise order to
