Overview
What is Phonics program in BRIS English?
Introduction
Phonics is a way of teaching children how to read and
write, or so-called written-English.

It helps children hear, identify and use different sounds

that distinguish one word from another in the English
language.
If a child memorises 10 words,
the child can only read 10 words.
But if a child learn 10 sounds,
the child will be able to read 350 three-sound words,
4 320 four-sound words and 21 650 five-sound words.
