2. Click Image Size.
The Image Size dialog box will appear.
3. Unlike the Canvas Size dialog box, the Image Size dialog
box shows both the size covered by the image and the size
of the canvas, which in this form is called documents.
The Pixel Dimension box displays information about the
current size of the image displayed in the number pixels,
and the current size of the file.
4. Enter the new width and height of the image.
5. When done, click OK.
TO RESIZE THE IMAGE
USING THE FREE TRANSFORMATION
COMMAND
1. Select a part of the whole image using the Rectangular
Marquee tool.
2. Go to the Edit menu, then select Free Transform. (You can
also use the key-board shortcut, Ctrl + T.)
3. Drag one of the resizing handles to resize the image.
4. When done, select the Rectangular Marquee tools.
5. Click Apply, if you want to apply the transformation, or
click Don’t Apply, if not.
6. Click anywhere on the working area to make the outline
dissapear.
