Trade Routes

The document analyzes and compares different international trade routes: 1) The Suez Canal is the fastest maritime trade link between Asia and Europe, facilitating over 10% of global oil shipments. 2) The Northern Sea Route could provide a shorter shipping path between Asia and Europe, but ice conditions make it unpredictable. 3) The proposed India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor would be a land-based route connecting these regions, though longer than canal routes. Each route has advantages and disadvantages related to distance, travel time, costs, safety, and environmental conditions.
