Hsaing Waing - Percussion Ensemble:

The Hsaing Waing is a traditional Myanmar percussion


ensemble, consisting of various drums, gongs, and cymbals. It
is known for its energetic and rhythmic performances and is
often used in festivals and ceremonies.
Saung - The Myanmar Harp:

The Saung is a harp made of wood and strings.


Musicians pluck the strings to produce melodic sounds. It is a
culturally significant instrument and is often associated with
storytelling and traditional Burmese music.
Pattala - The Xylophone:

The Pattala is a xylophone-like instrument made from


bamboo or hardwood. It has a wide musical range and is
commonly used in traditional contexts, such as performances
at pagoda festivals.
Byaw - The Bamboo Flute:

The Byaw is a bamboo flute, producing melodious tones


when air is blown across its openings. It's a soothing and
enchanting instrument often used in Myanmar's folk and
classical music.
Si and Hne are double-reed instruments with unique
appearances.

Sound is produced by the vibration of reeds when the musician


blows air through them. These instruments are used in various
cultural and ritual contexts in Myanmar.
The "ThaYe" is a traditional
Burmese drum.

Thaye drums are typically made of wood and covered


with animal skin, usually buffalo or cowhide,
stretched tightly over the drum's frame. The
drumhead is secured with cords and can be adjusted
for tuning.
