Master data

· Extend Material master data views, WM1 and WM2.


WM1: WM unit of measure field (only if its different than base UoM) and stock removal
indicator fields if is necessary, this field helps determine stock from a location at the time of
picking.
WM2: (create view for future functionality) like replenishment.
Plant Data 1: Modify Physical Inventory Indicator, Indicates that the given material is subject
to the cycle counting method of inventory. Enter an indicator in view Plant Data/ Storage 1 in
field CC physical inventory indicator example A,B,C.
This task can be done with batch input LSMW.
· Create storage bins tcode LS10. This task can be done with storage bin structure
previously configured for mass creation.
· Create RF users in Tcode LRFMD (Add all operator RF SAP users) .

Transition from IM to WM

Transition from IM (inventory management) to WM (warehouse management)


· Define bin coding (can be now). - Define the bin´s names example: 01-02-3, 01(aisle)-02(column)-3
(level)
· Tag Bins. - Put the label bin the new codes in each bin
· Physically put-up stock in order (can be now). - Reorder stock by similar materials and by batch etc.

Cut over activities (proposal).


· Import TR orders without warehouse number assignation.
· Create and validate storage bins.
· Create and validate RF users in Tcode LRMD.

Early before Go Live


· Import TR order warehouse number assignation to plant and sloc.
· Extend materials to WM views.
· WM Inventory Process and post differences.
