The document discusses water pollution in the Black Sea region. It notes that water becomes contaminated easily from human and industrial waste, which then contaminates crops and causes animal deaths. The Black Sea specifically faces severe pollution problems from nutrient and industrial waste discharges into rivers and from coastal industries. This pollution has resulted in a decline in biological diversity and fisheries in the Black Sea ecosystems. Improving the situation requires monitoring pollution, controlling land-based pollution sources, conserving biodiversity, regulating shipping waste, managing fisheries sustainably, and integrated coastal zone management.

Water pollution
The environment is the
surroundings in which we live. But the contamination of our environment by pollutants is environmental pollution. The current state of the Earth is the result of centuries of exploitation of earth and its resources. Water gets contaminated easily with any pollutant whether it is human waste or chemical discharge from factories. Also, we use this water for irrigation of crops and drinking. But, because of infection they become contaminated too. Besides, an animal dies because of drinking this water. A lot of areas of the Black Sea cause concern. Environmental problems in the Black Sea are terrible. The Sea's surface waters receive river discharges which are heavily loaded with nutrients containing nitrogen and phosphorus and contaminated with industrial wastes. In addition, coastal industries appear to discharge wastes directly into the sea with little or no recycling.
Pollution and irresponsible fishing resulted in an overall
decline of biological resources, the diversity of species and landscapes, and the recreational values of the Black Sea, thereby bringing its ecosystems to the edge of collapse. Researchers of the Black Sea have identified a crisis state of the ecological situation: the chemical composition of water shows significant pollution, and biological diversity is declining. The marine ecosystem is under significant pressure, which leads to the loss of the possibility of self-purification. In the process of active development of the Black Sea region, neither in large cities nor in small settlements, engineering networks in terms of sewerage were developed without a mandatory requirement for the presence of effective treatment facilities. In place of expensive systems, the so-called deep-sea drain is widely used, when a sewer pipe is led several hundred meters from the coast to a depth and all effluents flow directly into the Black Sea without undergoing treatment. How to improve the situation:
Monitor and assess pollution, control pollution from land-based
sources,
Ensure the conservation of biological diversity,
Address environmental safety aspects of shipping,
Address environmental aspects of management of fisheries and other
marine living resources and
Promote integrated coastal zone management and maritime policy.
Water is necessary for life. All organisms contain it, Pollution makes streams, lakes, and coastal waters some of them drink it and others live in it. Plants and unpleasant to swim in or to have a rest. Fish and shellfish animals require water that is moderately pure, and harvested from polluted waters may be unsafe to eat. People who use polluted water can become ill, if they they cannot survive, if water contains toxic chemicals or drink polluted water for a long time, it may develop harmful microorganisms. Water pollution kills large cancer or hurt their future children. Nature is not simply a quantities of fish, birds, and other animals, in some cases warehouse of resources to serve human needs. Protect the kills everything in an affected area. environment. It's our home to live in.
