Problem Description

Problem Statement – Salary Ranges modification to capture additional data for calculating the market
benchmark(Quartile).

Detailed Description - In SAP SuccessFactors, System supports 3 points salary range:


1. Minimum
2. Medium
3. Maximum
and two Market Benchmarks:
4. Compa Ratio
5. Range Penetration
However, client had the requirement for the calculation of additional market benchmark named as
Quartile, for which 2 additional data points addition in the salary ranges were required:
6. P25 (Lies between Minimum & Medium)
7. P75 (Lies between Medium & Maximum)
So, salary ranges under EC were modified and fetched into compensation worksheet for calculating
Quartile market benchmark.
It is also useful in standard EC Compensation promotion process which can be continued in general
manner.
