 FIR FILTER
Filter adalah sistem yang dirancang untuk menghilangkan beberapa
komponen atau memodifikasi beberapa karakteristik sinyal. Finite Impuls Respons
(FIR) adalah filter dengan respons impuls berdurasi terbatas, karena responsnya
menetap ke nol dalam waktu terbatas. Struktur input-output dasar filter FIR
didefinisikan sebagai komputasi domain waktu berdasarkan apa yang sering disebut
persamaan difference.

Unit Impulse merupakan urutan yang paling sederhana karena hanya memiliki satu nilai bukan nol, yang
terjadi pada n = 0. Notasi matematisnya adalah fungsi delta Kronecker:

δ [n - 2] bukan nol ketika argumennya n = 2 , atau ekuivalen dengan n - 2 = 0.

 Unit Impulse Sequence
Pergeseran Impuls merupakan konsep yang sangat berguna dalam merepresentasikan sinyal dan sistem. Misalnya, kita
dapat menunjukkannya dengan rumus :

Setara dengan mendefinisikan x[n] dengan membuatkan tabel dengan lima nilai bukan nolnya. Kita harus mengamati
bahwa definisi yang tepat untuk mengalikan suatu barisan dengan suatu bilangan adalah dengan mengalikan setiap nilai
barisan dengan bilangan tersebut. Demikian juga, menambahkan dua atau lebih urutan didefinisikan sebagai
menambahkan nilai urutan pada posisi (waktu) yang tepat.
