 Ensure One AOP & one SOP in service with

Normal/Emergency supply
 After grid failure, DCEOP, DC SEAL OIL PUMP should
come in auto start. if not come on auto, this DC
pumps should be started manually by the desk
engineer.
 Ensure seal steam of above 300mmwc & temperature
above 280 Deg C. If not maintained, immediately kill
the vacuum. Isolate seal steam at 0.8 ksc abs to avoid
cold air ingress via turbine seals.
 One JOP should come at 510rpm
 Barring gear valve should open at 210rpm
 Rise the Lube oil header temp to 50 Deg C
 If turbine speed reduces below 60 rpm, start one
more AOP.
 If speed is further dropping below 40rpm, Stop
JOP, wait for JO Pressure reduced to Zero and
restart JOP.
 Check the healthiness of DC EOP& DC SOP in
every shift/every day and check the pressure
developed at local.
 During start up, ensure no water is available in
CRH/MS line to avoid hanger failure due to
hammering
 When both GTs got tripped and no standby
transformer in service

 DG incomer will close automatically and

charge full DG MCC with this supply. This
MCC provides supply to AOP2, JOP2, PWP-2
& SOP2 with this, turbine barring gear shall
be ensured.
 If DG incomer breaker in DG MCC won’t close
automatically, the same may be mechanically
closed from MCC after ensuring “MCC is
dead”
 DG set shall be checked atleast thrice in a
week regularly. DG incomer shall be
synchronized with Stn incomer supply and
vice versa after ensuring second pump of
AOP, JOP & SOP are not in service.
