Scriptwriting

•OBB – Opening Billboard (put
at the beginning of the video,
introduces the program name
and slogan)
•CBB – Closing Billboard (put at
the very end of the video, closes
the program)

•V.O. (Voice-over) – a character
extension in which a character’s
voice is heard over a scene, as a
narrator. Always abbreviated in
capital letters with periods after each
letter and enclosed in parentheses

•CUT TO –
Instantaneous transition
(change) from a scene
(or a person) to another
•TEXT OVERLAY –
Superimpose one or more text
element over a video stream

•FADE IN – smooth gradual
transition from complete
