Scope and delimitation

The scope of this research is to determine the best set-up options for

computer server for the ICT students in Maligaya National High School and

will only be delimited to the TVL-ICT students in grade 12 at Maligaya

National High School

Significance of the study
School
It will provide additional knowledge on what options to use to help the students for setting
up a computer server. Not to mention on what computer servers are.
Teachers
The result of the study may contribute on what strategy to use to educate ICT students about
computer server set-up in computer.
Future Researcher
Researcher study will help the readers to understand computer server. Researchers may
provide insights about best computer server. This study will become a proposal for them to form a
wide study and analysis on this topic.

foreign literature
Computer servers offers several numbers of benefits. According to Zach
M. (2020) on his blog, some of server’s advantages are convenience,
reliability, scalability, and processing power. Servers was designed
specifically for multiple computers provides other computers on the
same network access to information, programs, services, etc., making
them high scalable. It is important to remember that servers can either be
software, like a web server, or hardware, like a desktop CPU. The
primary difference between the two is that software servers frequently
use the internet while physical servers exclusively use your local area
network (M.S. Villanueva, 2021)

By identifying the most resource-intensive client applications, this monitoring
system can warn database administrators. The performance of applications
running in production databases can now be monitored by system developers
and IT administrators thanks to the introduction of this database resource
consumption monitoring system. In the future, they can proactively improve
their applications to efficiently use Oracle databases, by adding various
applications and database tweaks to fetch and computer required information
faster. This monitoring system can also ease the burden of database
administrators by automating most of their routine tasks (such as monitoring
locked sessions, disk utilization, network traffic, and CPU utilization), as well
as provide measures to optimize the database, preventing server downtimes
and malfunctions. (B.E. Chua)
local studies

According to the researcher from Northern Mindanao State Institute of

Science and Technology (NORMISIST), to minimize database server
overloading, distributed systems or middleware that involved replicated
database and data synchronization were designed. The results showed that
installing the middleware application assured better performance.
Consequently, the development of such middleware application helped the
institution implement distributed systems to improve the overall
performance of its database server.
Chapter III
Methodology
Research design
The method of research used in this study was descriptive.
According to Calderon (2008), as cited by Alberto et al
(2010), descriptive method is also known as statistic
research. It describes data and characteristic about the
population or phenomenon being studied. This research is
qualitative.
Research locale

The study was conducted at Maligaya

National High School to know the
experiences of enrolled grade 12 ICT
students in setting up computer server and
how to set it up. It was exactly located at
Maligaya, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
sampling method
The sampling design used in this research is purposive
sampling is used extensively for educational research. For
employing a student feedback survey to gather feedback
from the students about the educational system, their subject
of choice, the course material, and pretty much anything
else.
DATA GATHERING TOOL

The researcher will distribute the said questionnaire to the grade 12

ICT students in Maligaya National High School about the
experiences of setting up computer server and how to do it. It
contains their daily tasks and records of daily experiences in
setting up computer server.
Data GATHERING
Procedure
Step 1: Permission
The researcher asked the permission of the respondents to participate to the
study by answering the questionnaire. The respondents were informed that
all of their answers will be completely confidential.
Step 2: Identification
The researcher identified the respondents which is the grade 12 ICT students
of Maligaya National High School.
Step 3: Findings
Tabulation, presentation and analysis of the data. The data gathered will be
tabulated and present the interpretation and analysis of the data.
Data analysis
The professor discussed about the crossover cable — its
importance, what it can do, and showing where and how to set it
up so that the students of grade 12 ICT. After all the instructions,
discussions and learning from the professor, the grade 12
students of ICT in Maligaya National High School do the actual
setting up the computer server in order to show what they
learned.
Chapter IV
Experiences
EXPERIENCES
DAY 1
-In the first day of their work immersion, the teacher oriented them on
what they should do and afterwards, they were assigned to their own work

day 2
-They do their assigned task and do what the clients need.
day 3- DAY 6
-As usual they do their assigned task — NBI Clearance, PRC renewal
and authentication.
DAY 7
- The staff change their task and assigned them in their new position where

in they do their best.

DAY 8
- The students went back to their assigned task and do their work.
DAY 9
- They finished all their assigned work and bid goodbye to the staffs.
CHAPT
SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS, AND
RECOMMENDATIONS
SUMMARY AND Conclusion
The researchers provide information in order to show how to set-
up computer server and provide experiences inside the school
and at their work immersion workplace. They concluded that it
is important to listen to the discussion since this will be
primary information in order to set up computer server
properly without any mistake since any mistake will lead to
an error.
Lesson
learned
The work immersion program, they experienced make them apply their knowledge to their
workplace

The researchers learned more about computers, particularly in this process of setting up
computer server. In addition to this, they discovered the value of team work and how crucial it
is to maintain focus when working toward a goal
Recommendations
• The teacher’s guidance and teaching are crucial in order for the students
to learn various things such us setting up a computer server

• Future researchers may learn about experiences working with a

computer and to a workplace.

• For further more study, future researchers can use this study as their
basis.
