HOW DAN LEARNED TO RIDE A HORSE


One day, Lito invited his cousin, Dan, to
his father’s farm in the barrio. Dan lived in the
town.
“Let’s ride on my horse,” Lito said.
“ I don’t know how to ride a horse,” said
Dan.
“It’s easy, I’m going to teach you.”
Lito got his horse and rose easily on its
back. “Come on”! Hold my hand and place one
foot on mine while I pull you up, he said.

How are forefathers kept themselves


clean
Our forefathers are clean and neat. They kept
themselves clean by bathing often and wearing clean
clothes.
To keep their black hair clean, they used the
suds of gugo bark boiled in water for their soap.
Their hair smelled sweet with their perfume oil. To

Many of our native fruits are very delicious.
Mangoes, caimitos, chicos, oranges, and lanzones are
a few of them. Some of them can be bought at any
time of the year. However, most fruits are plentiful
when in season.

grow the whole year round.
Fruit trees that grow in different place bear
