FIXED VS GROWTH MINDSET
Carol Dweck, Mindset: The New Psychology of Success (2007)
Psychologist Carol Dweck examines how attitude, motivation, and perspective strongly impact
every aspect of live, including your approach to education, relationships, parenting, and work.
Mindsets are beliefs about yourself – beliefs about your intelligence, abilities, talents, and
personality. Mindsets significantly influence how you approach learning, how you address
challenges, how you work, and how you cope with set-backs. These beliefs can both propel and
prevent your success as a student, friend, colleague, family member or sweetheart.
