8 - Methods of Philosophizing Day 1

Here are three realizations I had about a recent phenomenon or event in my life: 1. I realized how much I took certain relationships for granted until going through a difficult experience put things in perspective. 2. I realized that even when things seem out of my control, I still have a choice in how I respond and handle challenges. 3. I realized the importance of appreciating each moment and making the most of opportunities, as life can change in an instant in unexpected ways.

Philosophizing

PRAYER FOR
WISDOM
I pray for wisdom, understanding, insight,
guidance, and protection.
I ask that my mind be open to receive these
gifts.
I know that they have been sent to me, and I
am grateful for them. I thank God for his love
and care for me. May he bless me with the
knowledge that comes only from him. Amen.

• The human mind is conscious of its environment ,
intentional, directed at a material object or reality
• A phenomenologist distinguishes thought processes as
it observes objects of reality.
• A phenomenological standpoint is achieved through a
series of phenomenological “reductions” that eliminate
certain aspects of our experience from consideration
