S.Y. 2023-2024 SCHOOL ROUTINE S ARRIVAL ROUTINES Upon arrival ➔Come to school on time and in proper uniform at least 5 minutes before Quiet Time. ➔Properly place your bag and lunchbox at their designated areas. ➔Be sure that your materials (notebooks, books, pencil) are ready. ➔Heads down as you wait for the teacher to come inside the classroom. Reminders: ➔Have your temperature checked before entering the campus. ➔Do not come to school IF YOU’RE NOT FEELING WELL. ➔Provide an excuse letter if you will be absent. Proper Uniform ➔Wear the prescribed JCA Uniform. ➔Plain white collared polo shirt up to the hips and with sleeves ➔Pants or jeans / Knee-length shorts or skirt (Girls) ➔Rubber shoes with plain white socks up to the ankle ➔Always wear your RFID. PE Day ➔ Plain white T-shirt, jogging pants or knee-length shorts, and rubber shoes ➔ Bring an extra shirt and towel. Strictly no wearing of crocs during PE day. School Uniform Proper Grooming and Haircut ➔Come to school with proper haircut. BOYS: Barbers Haircut GIRLS: Well-groomed Hair ➔NO dyeing of hair for all students Casual Day ➔Casual Day is every Wednesday. ➔No spaghetti-strap blouse / dress, no plunging necklines, no bareback / backless, no midriffs, no tank tops for girls. ➔No sando or sleeveless / muscle shirt, no see-through shirt / blouse for both boys and girls ➔Please dress appropriately! 😊 Materials Needed ➔ Be sure to bring with you your notebooks, books, pencils, and crayons. You may leave some of your them inside your locker. ➔ Always bring an extra face mask, alcohol or sanitizer, tissue, or face towel. Wearing of Face Mask ➔ Wear your face mask at all times inside the classroom. ➔ You may remove your face mask when in open spaces like the playground, open court, and canteen. CLASSROOM ROUTINES During Class ➔ Always wear your face mask. ➔ Avoid touching or using anything in the classroom (laptop, microphone, blackboard, chalk) without the teacher’s permission. During Class ➔ Listen attentively to the teacher. ➔ Participate actively in the discussion and other activities. ➔ Raise your hand to speak and wait for the teacher to call you before speaking. Hand Signals ➔ When the teacher closes his/her fist, be quiet. ➔ Avoid talking to your seatmates, standing up, and walking around the classroom especially during class. ➔ Always ask permission! Chants ➔ When the teacher says, “Sit down, sit down”, students shall answer “Everybody sit down.” Everyone must be on his/her seat, hands on the table, and eyes on the teacher. Chants ➔ Before leaving the room, the teacher says, “Heads down, heads down”, students shall answer “Everybody heads down.” Everyone must put his/her head down on the table and wait for the next teacher to come. Refrain from talking, shouting, standing, and running around when the teacher is not yet in the room. Going to the CR.. ➔ CR Time is only allowed during Homeroom Time, before and after Recess and before and after lunch. ➔ Going to the CR is allowed during class time but one at a time only. ➔ Use the C-hand sign if you need to go to the restroom. ➔ Clip on the CR Pass ID and quietly leave the room. ➔ Once done, put the CR Pass ID back to its place. Going to the clinic.. ➔ Inform the teacher immediately if you need to go to the clinic. ➔ Clip on the Clinic Pass ID and quietly leave the room. ➔ Once done, put the Clinic Pass ID back to its place. Drinking of water.. ➔ Use the W-hand sign if you want to drink water. ➔ Get your water bottle and drink your water quietly. ➔ Be careful not to spill water on the floor. Proper use of locker ➔ Avoid playing with your locker. ➔ Avoid putting trash inside your locker. Keep your worksheets in your notebook and refrain from stacking them in the locker. ➔ Bring home your books and other important materials if you need to. ➔ Always keep your locker clean. Friday is our Clean-Your-Locker Day. RECESS AND LUNCH ROUTINES Recess ➔ Recess Time is 15 minutes. ➔ Line up properly and wait patiently in the CR. ➔ Wash your hands carefully. ➔ Finish your snack and refrain from talking to your seatmate. Stay in your seat. ➔ Once done, clean your table and heads down. ➔ Don’t forget to wash your hands and use Lunch ➔ Recess Time is 40 minutes. ➔ Line up properly and wait patiently in the CR. ➔ Wash your hands carefully. ➔ Finish your food and refrain from talking to your seatmate. Stay in your seat. ➔ Once done, show the Lunch Monitor your food container. ➔ Clean your table and heads down. ➔ Be sure to wash your hands and use the CR before lunch time ends. Reminders ➔ Strictly no sharing of food. ➔ No running on the ramp or in the hallways. ➔ No screaming and shouting. ➔ Bubble areas are allowed on certain days only. DISMISSAL ROUTINES Leaving the class ➔ End the day with a prayer. Always wait for the teacher to say goodbye. ➔ Pack up your things and make sure that everything is in your bag. ➔ Line up properly and follow your teacher’s instructions. ➔ Refrain from riding on your bag, pushing your classmate, and yelling at them. Dismissal Area ➔ Stay in the line for 15 minutes. ➔ Wait for your fetcher to pick you up and inform your teacher once your fetcher has arrived. ➔ If your fetcher is not yet around, stay at the quadrangle.
