Human Resource Management is
an operation in companies
designed to enhance employee
performance to meet the
employer's strategic aims and
objectives. More precisely, this
focuses on management of people
within companies, emphasizing on
policies and stated systems.

What is recruitment?

Recruitment is defined as a process of discovering reliable sources of contacting


desirable employees which meets the staffing requirements of the organization.
Through recruitment process the organization can attract the adequate number
of manpower to facilitate the effective selection process and joining of efficient
work force.

With respect to the information collected


from job analysis, the company prepares
advertisements and publishes them on
various social media platforms. This is
known as recruitment.

What is selection ?
Selection is the process of identifying an
individual from a pool of job applicants with the
requisite qualifications and competencies to fill
jobs in the organization. This is an HR process
that helps differentiate between qualified and
unqualified applicants by applying
various techniques.  
 
Selection is an important process because hiring
good resources can help increase the overall
performance of the organization. In contrast, if
there is bad hire with a bad selection process,
then the work will be affected and the cost
incurred for replacing that bad resource will be
high.

Advantages of Selection

• It is cost-effective and reduces a lot of time and


effort.

• It helps avoid any biasing while recruiting the


right candidate.

• It helps eliminate the candidates who are


lacking in knowledge, ability, and proficiency.

• It provides a guideline to evaluate the


candidates further through strict verification
and reference-checking.

• It helps in comparing the different candidates in


terms of their capabilities, knowledge, skills,
experience, work attitude, etc.
What is training in HR ?

Employees must undergo a training program, which


assists them to put up a better performance on the
job. Sometimes, training is also conducted for
currently working experienced staff to help them
improve their skills further. This is known as refresher
training.

Training is the process for providing required skills to


the employee for doing the job effectively, skillfully
and qualitatively. Training of employees is not
continuous, but it is periodical and given in specified
time. Generally training will be given by an expert or
professional in related field or job. For a growth of a
company employers should be trained. If I get an
example, a company develop their system.

training. As such, it is a critical contributor
to the overall organizational
performance. Specifically, the framework
guides organizations on the best
strategies, activities, benefits, and
opportunities to enhance employee
knowledge, experience, and capabilities.

manager or an experienced co-worker leading the development activity in the
context of the actual work environment. Other development occurs at
training facilities or other locations. And increasingly organizations use online

leadership, according to a wealth of study. In
fact, an organization's full potential can only
be realized when all teams and individuals
are totally dedicated, energized, and fully
aligned to achieve the organization's
objectives. Therefore, every organization's
goal should be to increase employees'
willingness to maintain their relationship
with the company.
