Organizations are expected to give out adequate
fringe benefits to their workers. This is because workers
expect the organization to show concern and
appreciation for their efforts. They expect their
organization to make provision for leave allowance,
overtime pay, health protection benefits, house
allowance it is the wish of every organization to get the
best from their workers, but human beings are known to
have needs and they can only function well in an
environment where their needs are looked into.
Employees tend to work harder if they are satisfied with
their compensation.

B. Do employees prefer traditional that meet their needs, or benefits that

The purpose of this study is twofold. First, the study


will consider focus on the general concept that employee
benefits can either increase or reduce job satisfaction.
Second, the study will focus on which benefits are more
likely to increase or reduce job satisfaction in the
employees. The main purpose of this study that look at
employee benefits preferences as well as employee job
satisfaction and motivation and which benefits are more
likely to influence.

The following statements were formulated to guide the study:

• H1: There is significant relationship between work environment and employees


productivity in Philippine Statistic Authority, Dipolog City.

• H2: There is a possible way to enhance the employee of Philippine Statistic


Authority, Dipolog City.

• H3: There is a significant relationship between employee benefits and employees


productivity in Philippine Statistics Authority, Dipolog City of age, gender, culture or
educational level.

LIMITATION

• This study on survey respondents’ willingness to participate in the survey and their
honesty and sincerity in answering survey questions.
• Each respondent’s level of agreement/disagreement and satisfaction
/dissatisfaction is different. This means that even though two respondents choose
“strongly agree” as the answer to the same question, they may not be at the same
level of agreement, because everyone’s perception of agreement of satisfaction is
different.
• Due to COVID 19, the researchers were not able to ask permission from the
Philippine Statistic Authority, Dipolog City which resulted to them not being able to
conduct a survey.

DELIMITATION

The research study will be conducted mainly at the Philippine Statistic Authority,
Dipolog City. This study is focuses on the employee of PSA only. The primary
gathering of result will be done through the distribution of questionnaire to be given
to the respondents of the study who are randomly selected using simple random
sampling. The results therefore cannot be generalized to reflect all other employee
unless these organizations have similar working condition.
