Presented by

Roll No.- 01, M.Sc. 4th Sem,

INTRODUCTION
Cricket-
• Bat-and-ball game, played between two teams of eleven players.
• On a field at the center of which is a 22-yard (20-metre) pitch.
• Wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps.
• The team batting first aims to score the most runs, while the fielding team strives to restrict
the runs and dismiss the opposing batsmen, ultimately the team with the highest score
emerges as the winner.
Statement of the Problem
• This study seeks to address the lack of comprehensive understanding regarding the
development of innings by the top 10 ODIs batsmen.
• By studying the relationship between-
• Balls faced versus runs scored.
• Cumulative runs versus and average runs
