A project is a specific, finite task to be accomplished.

Project refers to the series of tasks that need to carried

out in order to reach specific goal

Any set of activities can be considered to be a project if

they have a definite start time and end time and these set

of activities achieve some predefined goals.

 A project needs resources for a definite period of time. These
resources are allocated during project development and after
project gets completed.

When the project is finished it must be evaluated to determine


whether it satisfies the objectives and goals

help employees understand the role they play in attaining

 Leadership involves a manager using power, influence, vision,


persuasion, and communication skills

 Monitoring is the collection, recording, and reporting of
project information that is of importance to the project
manager and other relevant stakeholders.

 Managers will monitor individuals, departments, and the


organization to determine if desired performance has been
 reached.

Controlling
 Control uses the monitored data and information to bring actual
performance into agreement with the plan.
 In controlling, managers evaluate how well the organization is
achieving its goals and takes corrective action to improve
performance. And also take action to increase performance as
required.
 The outcome of the controlling function is the accurate
measurement of performance and regulation of efficiency and
effectiveness.

 In its simplest term, innovation is using new ideas and
approaches to solve existing problems
