WHAT IS A SUBJECT?
The subject of a sentence is the person or thing doing the
action or being described.

A subject can be a NOUN or a PRONOUN.


WHAT IS A VERB?
Verbs are the action words in a sentence that describe
what the subject is doing.
WHAT IS SUBJECT-VERB AGREEMENT?
Subject-verb agreement refers to the grammatical concept
that the subject of a sentence must align with the main
verb of that same sentence.
1. A singular subject takes a singular
verb.
1. Aya is always conscious with her appearance.
2. Mom wakes me up every morning.
1. A plural subject takes a plural verb.
