• Computers are incredibly versatile machines that can be used
for a wide variety of applications. They have become an
integral part of modern life and are used in almost every
industry and field, from business and finance to healthcare,
education, entertainment, and beyond.

• They are powerful tools that can be used in various fields and
industries to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
COMPUTERS AT HOME :

-Nowadays, most households have their own personal computers.


-Having a computer at home enables you to do a variety of tasks.

-Such as online shopping, banking, playing games and listening to music.


COMPUTERS FOR CUSTOMER INTERACTION:

-Computers have become an important asset for customer care centres.


-They handle activity such as, Answering customer questions, offering assistance and etc.

-Salesforce CRM is a Customer relationship management system that provides a complete view of marketing, customers and etc.
COMPUTER IN COMMUNICATION :

-Computers provide a wide range of communication technologies.


-They are now the most basic form of communication.

-Such as, E-mail, chat, Web conferencing and voice over Internet protocol (VoIP)
COMPUTER APPLICATION IN BUSINESS :

-They are a necessity for performing various kinds of business activities.


-Such as, Billing, Budgeting, Accounting, Reporting and Advertising.

-Example, Whenever you want to pay bill in a shopping mall, you are benefited with the power and speed of computer.
COMPUTER IN HEALTH CARE :

-Computers play a vital role in the field of medicine and health care.
-The computer handles activities of monitoring patients, diagnosing diseases and etc.

-They are also many computerized equipment and devices, For example Pacemaker that is used to fix the heart related problems of a patient.
COMPUTER IN EDUCATION:

-Computers are extensively used in classrooms, libraries and laboratories for preparing reports, displaying information, developing projects and etc.
-Many software applications are used for the education.

-Such as GCompris, JumpStart, KidPix and Tuxpaint are some software application for child education.
COMPUTER IN RESEARCH:

-Research scholars and scientists utilize computers to experiment, design and develop projects
-For example, nuclear reactions in large nuclear reactors are controlled by computers.

-They are also used to detect weather and most natural disasters, such as Tsunami and earthquake. Computer also helps in coding, content analysis and etc.
COMPUTER IN MUSIC:

-Computer allow you to create music by the Musical Instrument Digital Interface(MIDI).
-Computers are also able to play different music formats, such as .mp3, .mp4 and etc.

-We can use various software, such as Zulu Dj or Wavepad audio editing for mixing, editing or recording music in different music formats.
COMPUTER IN GOVERNANCE:

-Computers are used by government for various stuff.


-Computers are used by government to maintain or deal with bulk, such as maintaining census details, measuring per capita income, reserving tickets, paying bills and taxes, etc.

-Another great example of use of computer in governance is controlling or maintaining data processing, maintaining a database of citizens and supporting a paperless environment. .
COMPUTER IN MILITARY:

-Computer technology is helping create new advantages for infantry and armor.

-Things like guided munition systems, rocket and explosive defense systems for tanks controlling the missiles, keeping information about enemies and etc. , etc.
-For example, A tower computer can run all day on its battery without needing a recharge because it is using low-energy electronic parts designed specifically for this purpose.
CONCLUSION:
• Nowadays, Computers are used everywhere. At home,
workplace, hospitals etc.

• Computers have significantly changed the way society works


and performs certain tasks.

• Computers can bring about imagination, creation, and life


within every individual and sprout new opportunities for a
better future.
