    2. Problem Statement:

    • In my village and also in the surrounding villages , people of new generation are migrating and leaving the job of agriculture on the shoulders of
    old people by giving the reason that agriculture is not lucrative business and go to the urban cities and work on the meagre salary with lot of
    hardship . So I want to do something in the field of agriculture so that by seeing me , atleast some people will change their rice –wheat cropping
    pattern .
    • So for this I want to start dragon fruit farming and multi layer farming and prove them wrong by establishing the fact that agriculture is
    profitable enterprise and help those who want to participate in this.
    3. Solution :

    • Farming high value crop like dragon fruit and processing it into different product like pulp into juice and candy etc, from
    seed , dragon seed oil and from peel , pectin , which can be used in formation of mulching sheet, so that farmer avoid plastic
    sheet and natural colour.
    • Multilayer farming which help in increasing the use efficiency of farm resouces and increase per unit area output.
    4. Technical Description:

    • There is huge demand of dragon fruit in India , in alone 2021 ,15491 tonne of
    dragon fruit is imported and 1st consignment of export of dragon fruit from India is1
    tonne in 2021 , the demand is increasing each year . Table depicting this show below:
    • This tells about the potential of dragon fruit farming.

    5. Competition Analysis :

    • Dragon fruit farming is new in India but the fruit is not new as 1 st import happen in
    2017 and till now it is increased it increased almost 50 times so there is a huge gap
    which we can fill by doing this farming
    6. Business Model Details:

    • Business model is B2C and B2B . Stakeholders are farmers , consumers , business
    houses.
