An IoT based electric cycle is a bicycle powered by an electric motor and equipped with Internet
Of Things(IoT) technology. The IoT technology allows for real-time monitoring and control of
the elctric cycle.
Including the battery life, and ride statistics. The electric cycle can be monitored through the
mobile application ,giving riders access to useful information such as remaining battery life and
distance traveled.
Additionally, the IoT technology can also provides safety safety features such as GPS
tracking, automatic alerts in case of theft and colloison detection.
An IoT-based electric cycle is a type of electric bicycle that is connecteed to the internet and can communicate
with other devices or systems
This type of bicycle uses sensors and other electronics to collect data and send it to a cloud-based platform for
analysis
The IoT-based electric cycle typically has an electric motor, battery, control unit that work together to provide a seamless
riding experience
The electric motor helps the cyclist to ride effortlessly, and the battery provides power to the motor. The control unit
manages the power and controls the speed of the electric cycle
EXISTING SYSTEM
It is not necessary to use muscular force to move this bicycle, because of electricity. Ebikes
are another name for them. The electric bicycle comes in a variety of styles
Some of these bikes are equipped with rechargeable batteries,These bicycles are more practical than standard
bicycles. This cycle can be used as an normal cycle when the charge is low. Two sets of batteries are used in
this cycle, one for charging and the other for draining.
One set of batteries can operate while being automatically charged. It came with a headlamp for riding at
night. The headlamp also includes a battery level indicator.
We have two different types of brakes here, the mechanical brake is mounted on the rim and another type of
brake is the electrical brake, which is linked to the motor.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed embedded system will be an add-on to an e-bike to include features GPS tracking and Seat sensor
Given the need to adopt a healthier and greener lifestyle, a ‘smart’ e-bike can enhance the user experience of bicycling.
Enhanced security features can make purchasing the e-bike a low-risk option
A micro GPS chip added to the bicycle will help in detecting the location in case of an accident or theft. The chip can
also help transmit data about the route of the bicycle and corresponding to a server.
GPS coordinates along with time data can be used to estimate time to travel from one location to another. The features
will be implemented using the existing power supply of the bicycle.

Eco Friendly
Fitness boost
An IoT-based electric cycle can offer several advantages such as higher efficiency, increased safety, real-time
monitoring, and a better user experience.
The use of IOT technology enables data collecting and analysis of the Cycle
It may be utilised to enhance the performance of the electric cycle and give significant information.
Moreover, IoT-based devices may give customers with real-time data such as battery level, speed, and distance
travelled, among other things.
Overall, the application of IoT in electric cycles has the potential to transform how people commute and
contribute to a more sustainable feature.
