OBJECTIVES
• Fire alarm system is used to detect fire and provide a HIGH
signal upon the detection.
• Arduino reads the signal and provides alert by turning on the
buzzer and LED.
• The flame sensor used here is an IR based flame sensor.
ABSTRACT
Delay in coping with house fires can induce in loss of human life
or material.
• This research aims to build a prototype system that quickly
helps house owners and firefighters to detect fires.
• This home fire detection system is utilized to measure room
temperature in a room, then the output of this system is sent in
short messages and alarms.

• Internet of Things (IoT) Integration: With the rise of the IoT, fire alarm systems can become
part of a larger network of connected devices. Arduino-based fire alarm systems can be
integrated with other IoT-enabled devices, such as smartphones, tablets, or building
management systems. This integration allows for remote monitoring, real-time notifications,
and centralized control of multiple fire alarm system.
• Smart Home Integration: The integration of fire alarm systems with smart home technologies
is another area of potential growth. By connecting the fire alarm system to a smart home hub
or voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, users can receive voice
notifications, control the system using voice commands, or automate responses such as
activating sprinklers or unlocking doors in case of a fire emergency.
